Twitter Wisdom…Part 3

I closed my Twitter account. But here are some thoughts that I have saved for further reflection:

I believe my Reformed friends high view of the Sovereignty of God and my Pentecostal friends high view of the Goodness of God are both right

Sometimes Ezekiel 37 happens with different bones. Maybe your dead dream is meant to live again in a new wineskin…

We have a transmission problem with the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20. Making disciples only happens with the authority of Jesus

I think the Father’s love for the Prodigal Son was an act of violent Kingdom behavior

“A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education”Theodore Roosevelt As a college president, I endorse this message

The single most important “social program” in America is the family unit. We have too long ignored or been hostile to the American family

He is Lord of the clock and the calendar, of the minutes and the months, the seasons and the epochs. Live in the now for the Eternal One.

The clarity of the gospel of Jesus Christ becomes most real when we incarnate it with live and loving believers in every sphere of life

Pet peeve here. I promise to NEVER allow any form of automated system be the first voice people hear from any organization I lead. Not opposed to automation, opposed to automation as the first contact. Faithful to this credo since 1977

YES and AMEN. The Baby in the manger grows up to be the Man on the cross and rises from the dead to be Lord of Life. Immanuel (God with us) is the Christmas message
