While I enjoy coaching anyone coachable, my dream client is an established or emerging leader with high-potential, high-capacity, and a desire to reach for his or her Spirit-breathed dreams. My ideal client doesn’t even need coaching in the remedial sense, but wants a thought-partner, an advocate, an encourager who is fully committed to believing in the client and the client’s agenda even when the client him/herself sometimes doubts in his or her ability to achieve—a client who wants to reach farther, run faster, and climb higher in pursuit of God’s purpose. That’s the kind of client where God shows up in the coaching moment and does extraordinary things.
